Hey! We’re Sally n David Guest, parents of two and a married couple based in Ottawa, Canada since July 2015. We met at a squash tournament in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2006 and tied the knot on Waiheke Island (just off Auckland) in 2010, so it’s been a wild ride of huge highs, deep lows and lots of adventure in between.

We have a passion for health, sport (squash in particular), travel and spending quality time with family and friends. We like to call ourselves ‘Cana-Kiwis’ because Sally is a New Zealander and David a Canadian. We feel extremely fortunate to be able to live in two of the world’s greatest countries.

Sally is a former lawyer who started her entrepreneurship journey in 2012, organising events and building a coaching business. David is a successful chiropractor who co-owns Britannia Chiropractic Clinic near Westboro in Ottawa.

So, if we appear so successful, why start another business online?

We realised that the only way to secure our financial future was to create an additional residual income stream that doesn’t rely on the exchange of our time for money.

However, we weren’t interested in a traditional network marketing business, where we would have to sell lots of small items (essential oils, makeup, supplements) to family and friends. The idea of parties, product demonstrations and hustle just wasn’t our cuppa tea.

So, when we discovered a mostly automated marketing and sales platform that actually converts, our interest was seriously piqued. Once we realised that this business was built around a product that was completely aligned with our life philosophy and values, we were sold.

Sally, as the ‘early adopter’ in the relationship was ready to dive in immediately. However, ‘Due Diligence Dave’ pulled the reigns back a little and made sure that we were making the smartest investment that we could in our future.

The rest is history! Find out more about this rockin’ business HERE.

The truth is, we have been through a number of significant challenges during our relationship, including:

1. David dislocating his elbow in 2009, only 6 months after we had launched our first chiropractic clinic in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. He was unable to practice for over 2 months and we were stuck with high business overheads, an expensive locum doctor and significant financial pressure; and

2. Our move to Ottawa from New Zealand in 2015 proving a lot more difficult both financially and emotionally than we expected. Two start-up businesses, a 9-month-old baby and a lean support network put us under immense strain that took us several years to recover from.

Both of these experiences taught us so much about who we are and what’s most important to us as a family. In 2018, we vowed we would never put ourselves back into another similar situation.
